Remember the perplexing riddle that goes "which came first: the chicken or the egg?" The same can be asked of the 18 Strings of Love and Radio London. John & Ken & Jan met in a living room in 1991 and have been playing together ever since. For a while they fronted the band Radio London, but Jan's increasing workload with Vitamin L and Mostly Motown led him to leave the band. The magical blend of the three voices, though, won't be silenced. They don't perform often in public (beyond an annual set at Porchfest in Ithaca and an occasional private party), but the pendulum is swinging again and the 18 Strings are coming back.
